Firm ground football boots are characterised by a shorter stud length, and frequently there will be more studs on the sole plate than would be found on a soft ground boot.
Whilst some players may simply use a shorter length screw in stud in their firm ground boots, a number of designs use a moulded sole such as the Adidas Copa Mundial and it's derivatives.
More modern firm ground boots feature elongated studs known as blades which are oriented in different directions on the sole to provide better grip than a traditional circular profile stud.
Remember, name customisation is available on many modern boots.
